Moriah's big toothy smile! 7 months old already?

This girl loves her exersaucer...Can you tell? At 7 months she is now sitting up all by herself, jumping like a mad woman in her jumparoo, eating cereal in her big girl highchair and attempting to communicate through a variety of interesting sounds. No crawling as of yet...stay tunned!

What a beautiful October day...Let's go to the Pumpkin Patch!

Moriah seemed to enjoy the pumpkin patch as much as any 7 month old. She was very curious about all the big orange things scattered everywhere. We also saw goats, chickens, ponies and rabbits at the petting farm. As for her adorable hat...Well, it was a real hit among patch goers...I think moriah felt it was a little itchy.

I love my Memom!! She is so special!

Moriah sure had a wonderful time meeting Memom on her first ever trip to Texas. If you are a member of the Petree family you know how much Memom loves to bake cakes for her grandchildren. Well when we arrived for our first visit to see Memom with Moriah, Memom had baked Moriah her very own special miniature cake. It was round, about an inch and a half tall and about 5 inches wide, lemon with frosting...Yummm! We took video footage of Moriah eating her first ever cake, made with love by Memom. What a special day!! Thank you Memom!

Feeding the Giraffe at the Abilene Zoo

How cool that at the zoo in Abilene, TX (where my Papa and Emmie live) you can actually feed the BIG animals! Moriah's favorite was the Giraffe...although, the elephants were a close second. "The zoo was so fun it pooped me out, so a took a nap on my Papa's shoulder."
